Stopwords

Stopwords allow you to directly tailor search terms for enhanced accuracy. In SPARQUE Hub, you can manage your stopword sets. A stopword set consists of a word that will be excluded from the search index. For example, “the”, “and”, or “with”: If a user searches for “the computer”, only “computer” will be used in the search query.

Stopword sets are always contained in stopword lists, which act as the foundation for organizing and managing them. Depending on your needs, you can create one or multiple lists. Without a list, it is not possible to create or store stopword sets.

Dataset in SPARQUE

Each stopword set will be stored in SPARQUE Desk. For each set, an object will be created. Each object has a unique identifier with stopword as attribute. This object can be used in the SPARQUE strategies.

Using Labels

Within each stopword set, you can set a label. This can be useful to manage multiple stopword sets within one list for multiple channels.
